Teckt, Johannesburg, is responsible for what you send us through this website, under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Our information officer is Tao Volkwyn, at [email protected].

What we keep, and why

  • The contact form: your name, email, and what you choose to add (business, phone, message), to reply to you.
  • The estimator: if you send your estimate, the same details plus your answers, to prepare a quote.

We keep these for as long as we're talking, and up to 12 months after, then delete them unless you become a client.

What we don't do

  • No cookies, no tracking and no advertising.
  • We never sell or share your details. They are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site, and reach our Microsoft 365 mailbox.
  • We don't keep your IP address. To stop abuse we keep a scrambled code of it that changes daily and is deleted after a day.

WhatsApp

If you send your estimate on WhatsApp, the message goes through WhatsApp and its own terms apply. We use it only to reply to you.

Ask us what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, at [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we handled it, you may complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
